Cooper Davis spent 4-years at Vanderbilt University in the NCAA Division 1’s top conference – the SEC (Southeastern Conference) playing for Head Coach Tim Corbin. While at Vanderbilt, the Commodores reached the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska in 2019 and 2021; winning the NCAA Division 1 National Championship in 2019 over the University of Michigan Wolverines while falling to Mississippi State University Bulldogs in the Championship game in 2021. As a sophomore in 2019, Davis reached beach in 31 out of 35 games played. In the pandemic shortened 2020 season as a junior, he led Vanderbilt with 24 hits and 2 triples with a team-high 8 multi-hit games before the season was cancelled. Prior to his collegiate career, Davis was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays with their 25th round pick in the 2017 MLB draft and played for Team Canada’s Junior National Program from 2015 – 2017. Locally, Davis played for the Ontario Blue Jays from 2013 – 2017. Davis appeared in the Area Code Games in Long Beach, California and was named to the Perfect Game’s Underclass First Team in 2016.
